IWD Deputy Director Georgia Van Gundy Addresses Workforce, Housing Needs at Carroll Roundtable

Members from approximately 10 local businesses and organizations were in attendance for an employer listening session roundtable event today (Tuesday). The event was led by Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) in partnership with Carroll County Growth Partnership (CCGP) to provide businesses with a forum to share insights, identify needs, and discuss workforce challenges. IWD Deputy Director Georgia Van Gundy highlights some common workforce themes in Carroll and at the state level.
Van Grundy says there have been struggles in both retention and recruiting in the workforce.
