Midwest Style & Company finds comfortable fit in downtown Carroll

Growing up on a farm, Mariah Tasler said one usually just wears a T-shirt and a pair of jeans. At school, Tasler said she always liked to express herself by wearing a nice outfit.
“I’ve always loved fashion, I’ve always loved dressing up. . . but I’m a farm girl at heart, I love getting dressed up, but then going out to work,” Tasler said.
Continuing to pursue her love of fashion, Tasler is now operating her own boutique called Midwest Style & Company, located at 504 N. Adams Street.
Leading up to this business move, Tasler was partnered with another boutique before opening her store downtown.
