IEDA Opens Up Voting For 2024 Mural Contest, With Jefferson, Sac City And Manning Competing For Finalist Position

The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) has opened the voting for the 2024 Community Mural Contest, and three local communities have entered. The cities of Manning, Sac City, and Jefferson are asking for votes to win a custom mural designed by Iowan artist Thomas Agran, representing the uniqueness of the community. A total of 30 cities across Iowa submitted a video entry showcasing what makes them stand out and deserving of the mural. To be named a finalist, the three towns must receive at least 500 votes by Oct. 15. One vote can be made per Facebook profile video in a 24-hour period.
