Sac City Completes Landscaping For Lots Of New Housing Development

Sac City officials announced yesterday (Wednesday 9/18) the completion of a new housing development continuing to promote growth and strength in the community. The Deer Run Housing Development offers 13 lots ranging from approximately a quarter to a little over half an acre in size, located on the city’s southwest corner. The paved roadway of O’Connor Drive separates the northern and southern lots that are ready for new houses to be constructed on them. The development’s location was chosen because it is only blocks away from the East Sac County Elementary School, the community pool, and the golf course. The name’s inspiration came from the frequent sightings of deer and other animals traveling across the area, highlighting the community’s connection to nature. Four of the 13 lots are pending sale at this time.
