Joey Hoefling, nurse practitioner opens his practice in Odebolt

Joey Hoefling, nurse practitioner has been practicing for 11 years, and now has set up practice in Odebolt on Main St. In the past, he has worked on an Indian Health Reservation and then started his own practice. He had been a nurse for 26 years, 10 years in long-term care, worked at Brain Injury Opportunities in Sioux City, and at Horn Memorial in Ida Grove. Hoefling says,
“I went straight to nursing out of high school. I was either going to be a teacher or a nurse. I chose nursing and found that there is a lot of teaching in nursing. I have two aunts who are nurses and my older sister had some medical issues in high school, which sparked my interest in the medical field.”
