Westside banker chairing state association

Westside State Bank President and CEO Matt Lujano, part of a banking family with roots in the Carroll area, takes the reins Tuesday as chair of the Iowa Bankers Association.
His term lasts for a full year with an organization that dates back to 1887 when the Iowa Bankers Association became the fourth such state organization in the United States.
“I’m excited,” Lujano said. “It’s a great organization. It’s good for us to champion for the industries in which we are involved.”
