The Pella Rolscreen Foundation, the nonprofit foundation of Pella Corporation, has awarded $14,500 in grants to four organizations serving Carroll and surrounding communities. The funding reflects the Foundation’s commitment to supporting programs and services that strengthen the communities where Pella team members live and work.

The latest grants support projects that expand access to childcare, strengthen emergency response capabilities and provide resources for children and families across the Carroll area:

  • $10,000 to the Paton-Churdan Early Learning Center to support construction of a new facility that will expand access to child care, reduce waitlists and serve more families in the surrounding rural communities.
  • $1,500 to the Carroll County Fire Department to purchase thermal imaging cameras that enhance firefighters’ emergency response capabilities.
  • $1,500 to Carroll County Ambulance to purchase MedVault systems that securely store medications on ambulances for emergency responders.
  • $1,500 to the Family Resource Center in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month. The grant will support the purchase of parenting curriculum for classes designed to strengthen family relationships, encourage positive home environments and support the overall well-being of children and families.
