Arthur N. Neu Airport continues to serve surrounding communities

Arthur N. Neu Airport, just east of Carroll off Highway 30, continues to grow with its surrounding communities, reflecting Carroll’s standing as a regional hub.
Greg Siemann, airport commission member and lawyer at Siemann Law Firm PLC, said it’s important for the community to have an airport big enough to support the community, but more so to have an airport with excellent service.
The airport, first established in 1944, sports a 5,500 foot long, 100 foot wide runway, which Siemann said is more than enough for the needs of the Carroll area. He said the airport routinely sees between 700 and 800 landings a month, significantly more than other local airports.
