State of Iowa Receives Grant to Help Companies Grow and Expand Export Markets

The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) has been awarded a competitive State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) grant in the amount of $200,000. STEP is administered by the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of International Trade and provides grants to states for small business exporting assistance programs. The aim of the STEP Initiative is to increase the number of small businesses that are exporting and increase the value of their exports.
