- Proliant, Lytton and Arion — Manufactures and markets protein products for the food, nutrition, human health, nutraceutical, diagnostic, life science research, biopharmaceutical and veterinary vaccine industries.
- Struve Labs, Manning — Raises SPF (Specific Pathogen Free) pigs. Pigs are caesarian derived, colostrums deprived, and raised in isolation for research purposes.
- Four All Seasons — Produces 100 percent natural bio-based fertilizers for turf-building purposes, and was founded in 2004 to provide an alternative to petroleum-based products while adding value to rural Iowa’s economy.
